Getting to the roots - Knitting Values into Fashion

A visit from OLEANA reminds me of what my concept is and why I am doing what I am doing.  Why I have a store that sells products made by caring hands, a store that does not mark up in order to mark down.  A store that addresses the need for less but more beautiful clothes. URBANITY is about clothes and accessories that look at the roots of our being, and responds in a new way to old designs -- not copying old, but being inspired by them.

Watching people touch and savour the glorous colour and the softness of natural fibres and who feel at one with what URBANITY is about makes me really happy.

Keeping you up-to-date!

The Grass Roots Wedding Fair is happening on Saturday, Feb 12 at the Heritage hall on Main Street from 11 - 16.  I will be showing OLEANA silk skirts and tops -- perfect for any member of a wedding party -- or any party!  There will be lots of goodies, and I will be giving out $20 coupons for an Urbanity purchase - to sweeten the $15 entrance.

Last weekend my info-mail did some-thing strange.  We tried to send it twice.  Still, many people did not get it.  You will always get news when you are signed up here!!

Upcoming visit from OLEANA!!!!  Signe Aarhus, co-owner, and founder of OLEANA will be here for only one day on Monday, February 21st.  She will be giving a talk about OLEANA at Kwantlen-Richmond, and YOU ARE INVITED!  Signe is so interesting listen to.  I hope you can find time from 11.20 - 12.20 to join us.  More info will be sent soon.
